Job Description: 
Ever dreamed of living on a houseboat for the summer? Join this team! Through teaching English classes to children and youth, you will be opening the door for spiritual conversations. Use your love of sports & games to build relationships in the lake community. Conduct prayer "paddle" sessions to saturate the surrounding areas. Be a student of the local culture as you learn basic words and common phrases, allowing you to better understand their world view. Provide local entertainment as you show Christian movies for the surrounding community.

Students must commit to the entire program from orientation through debrief. Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your ministry time you will return to the US for a joint debrief... sharing all God has done over the summer.

Job Description: Your help is needed to engage the lostness in our province. By coming and working in our diverse city, you will engage Muslims, Christians, Buddhist, Hindus, and Catholics through English clubs & intensives. There are also many refugees from the Middle East and Somalia. People are very open to having religious conversations, and we know God is calling people to Himself here. Join us as we share the Good News, pray for those around us, disciple believers, and mobilize the local church. Most of the time will be spent in the city, but expect trips into village settings for one or two weeks as well. Expect to be hot, and meet a lot of people, following up with those who are interested in learning more. Let’s see what God will do in 52 days!

Summer 2020: Upward Sports

Job Description: Students will join together with Upward Sports Canada in reaching student athletes and families with the Gospel. Toronto is home to over 6.5 million people with Evangelical Christianity merely at 3.5% of the population. Using sports, the Gospel is being bridged and many families are hearing the saving message of Jesus for the first time! Students will help organize and run summer sports camps, block parties and outreach events for student athlete and their families. Our ministry is focused on reaching all people with the Gospel, though our focus is Muslims families. Therefore, we desire the students come with a willingness to spend time with a variety of cultures while hearing about their country and cultural heritage Students applying for this project MUST not only be flexible with their schedules, but completely fluid! The life of ministry is one that changes by the minute, so fluidness is a must! The nations are being brought to us. Will you join in bringing the nations to Him?

Summer 2020: UPG Awesome Adventure

Job Description: This unreached people group has very little access to the Gospel. Your main focus will be teaching ESL in the larger city. Building opportunities to share the Gospel with those with a desire to learn English. You have something they WANT: English. You also have something they NEED: Jesus. Boldness, wisdom, and sensitivity to the Spirit will be needed as you share your faith. Your first stop will be a join orientation with other Nehemiah Teams. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will then travel to your area of assignment. Following your summer of ministry you will return for a join debrief, sharing all God has done over the summer. It is expected that participants complete the entire program from orientation through debrief.

Go backpacking in breathtaking mountains overlooking vast, white beaches and clear blue seas to find those who are open to a message they've never heard. While sipping delicious coffee, talk with intermediate English speakers everyday about the important topics that have changed your life. You will be given access based on where you were born and through sharing of culture, you can share the Greatest News. How will they hear unless someone tells them? Statistics in these areas say 99.9% are non-believers. Help spread seed of who is the Way, Truth and Life. Why should the birth country be a barrier to access the gospel?

Summer 2020: Eco Evangelism & Community Development Project

Job Description: Spend the summer working alongside unreached Muslims and lost eco tourists from a variety of nationalities in an unreached community that has already “caught the vision” for conservation but has not yet had anyone repent and believe in Jesus. Students will work hard daily on conservation/community development projects, build relationships with members of the community, and make opportunities to share the good news as much as possible. This project will help deepen ties between long term workers and village leaders as well as give opportunities for people to hear the good news who have never heard. Students must commit to the entire program from orientation through debrief. Summer 2020: Multinational Advance Cambodia

Job Description: The strongest power of the gospel is the Kinship of Jesus' love beyond every barrier between humans. Students will experience multi-cultural missions in Korea and Cambodia. They will teach English to children and teenagers in Korea for the first month and then move to Cambodia with their Korean team mates where they will be involved in various ministries such as: teaching English and Korean, worship dances, playing musical instruments & one on one evangelism. It would be helpful if the students have training/experience teaching English. 


Team members must commit to the entire program from orientation through debrief. Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams. Your team will then fly to Korea for your first month of ministry with your Korean team mates. After the first month of ministry you will travel to Cambodia for your next month of ministry where you will be supervised by Korean missionaries. Following your ministry time in Cambodia you will return to the US for a joint Nehemiah Teams debrief...sharing all God has done over the summer.

Summer 2020: Spice Island Explorer

Team member will travel—by plane, boat, motorcycle, bus, taxi, and on foot—to village locations on various tropical islands to explore and survey the area for continued engagement. This team needs to be full of people ready to mingle with the locals. There will be lots of people asking for your picture, wanting to talk with you, and many invitations to events and activities. Those who are ready for adventure, grab your backpack and come on over!
