Summer 2020: Eco Evangelism & Community Development Project

IMB Job #: 13829
Location:  Southeast Asia
Team size:  6 (3 girls/3 guys)
Field expense:  $1541 plus round trip airfare, immunizations, required travel insurance, passport & visa costs, etc.

Job Description: Spend the summer working alongside unreached Muslims and lost eco tourists from a variety of nationalities in an unreached community that has already “caught the vision” for conservation but has not yet had anyone repent and believe in Jesus. Students will work hard daily on conservation/community development projects, build relationships with members of the community, and make opportunities to share the good news as much as possible. This project will help deepen ties between long term workers and village leaders as well as give opportunities for people to hear the good news who have never heard. Students must commit to the entire program from orientation through debrief. Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your ministry time you will return to the US for a joint debrief... sharing all God has done over the summer.
