Job description: Grow in your faith & understanding of ministry as you reach out to a diverse local community. You will be helping set the future of True North Church. Weekly ministry may include various community outreach activities, people mapping, one on one evangelism, kids ministry & construction projects.

Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill the first few days of training at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Your team will then travel to your final destination for the summer. Team members will not be allowed to return home over the course of the summer. It is also preferred that family/friends not visit the ministry site. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to Mentone, Alabama for a joint debrief... sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must attend the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.

Job description: Come, work near a college campus & see what God can do through you! Students are open to hearing the Good News, especially if they can practice their English. Use your interest in sports (basketball, ping pong, etc) to develop relationships with the students. Make a difference in their lives this summer. Team will work near a college in Daet where less than 2% know Jesus Christ. The only public college in the area, many students come from outlying areas to study. The goal? For them to become Christ followers, taking the Gospel back to their hometown. Spend time with small groups of believers that you could disciple & mentor as they grow in their faith. Additional ministry opportunity could include paving the trail for a Disciple-Making Movement among the Deaf here in Camarines Norte with Daet as a central training base.

Job description: The world comes to New Orleans regularly. Your team will be responsible for ministering to the physical, social, mental, and spiritual needs of seafarer and port personnel. This will be done by visiting with crew members aboard cargo ships and with personnel within the port. Must be flexible and willing to minister to people from different cultures and spiritual backgrounds. There will be opportunity for direct evangelism and leading small groups in Bible study and times of prayer. Team will be working with Global Maritime Ministries, Inc.

Job description: As part of a small team, team members will help by teaching English, learning culture & language, and with local church ministries. Teaching English helps to meet an important need of Thai students, and in doing so, we are able to share the Good News with everyone who learns. The curriculum used is fun and engaging and will help in building good relationships. Our prayer is that God will use these relationships to lead Thai college students or others to faith in Christ. In addition to being an English teacher, the students will also have the opportunity to learn about culture and learn some of the Thai language as well. This shows Thai people that you are interested in learning their culture and will open up many doors. Finally, we are trying to come alongside a couple of local church fellowships, so you may also have the opportunity to teach English at the church, encourage existing believers, and be able to serve our national believers as well.
