Children's Ministry

Jesus says, Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it” in Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬-‭15‬. In our ministry, we’ve been blessed to see this firsthand. 

The children here are much like the ones at home: loud, full of energy, eager to have a good time and overflowing with personality. They constantly joke around and have a great time doing their little dances for TikTok. As we walk in, they regard us with a curious air. To them, we are known as the "Values Committee" and are responsible for teaching good values they should strive to maintain in their lives.
 
We do this through two primary means: Bible stories and Gospel presentations. Class after class, we retell stories of Biblical heroes or of Jesus’s teachings and watch as their minds begin to grasp the greatness of God. 

As we go through the Gospel with different tools, we see them remembering why the world is broken and how they can be saved through faith in Jesus. In all of this, we are pleased to see the children engaged and listening as seeds are faithfully planted each week. With joy, they receive us and the wonderful stories of our Lord’s faithfulness. 

Working with children is always a tiring but rewarding endeavor. We’ve established great connections and have seen the Lord work faithfully in providing us so many opportunities to witness and teach. As we continue along in our work, I pray that the children will joyfully embraces Jesus as their savior, relying fully on Him for all things and trusting in Him. May we, like the little children, happily embrace the richness of God’s Word and character. 
 
As the children are taught the Word of God, pray for them to have a hunger to learn more about His glorious love. 

Pray that many would be established firmly in the Lord and go among their peers to share the hope of the Gospel.
