Faith the Size of a Mustard Seed

A team in the Philippines has been inspired seeing God’s grace and love transform the lives around them. One story in particular, is the salvation story of a new believer named Kuya Frank. While visiting a local barangay (village), the team came across a person of peace, Kuya Frank.

The team had the chance to share the gospel with Kuya and his family. Though he did not accept Christ into his heart that day, just a few days later while the team was on their way over to his house for a follow up Bible study, Kuya Frank walked to the teams house to ask if “Jesus was alive.”

The team was overjoyed with this God given opportunity and talked with Kuya Frank most of the morning. That very afternoon, Kuya Frank prayed, asking for forgiveness and asked Christ to come into his heart. He explained that he had never heard the gospel, but knew, after hearing it, that he had to have Jesus in his heart. Just two days later, Kuya Frank asked if it would be alright for him to join the team while they’re out sharing the gospel so he can learn and hear the gospel more.

The next day Kuya Frank joins them and keenly listens to the gospel each time it’s shared. In addition, while walking around the barangay, Kuya stops everyone he see to tell them about his new found hope, asking if they would like the team to do a Bible study with them. Kuya Frank’s faith is truly the size of a mustard seed. They team is in awe of all God is doing in and through Kuya Frank.

Thank you Jesus for giving Kuya Frank ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to accept.
