Far villages: Whatever it Takes for Cambodia
A few days ago we had the opportunity to go to a far village. It took a little less than an hour tuk-tuk ride and a riverboat to reach the village! The river, although dirty, provides a lot for the villages that run along it. They use it for bathing, cooking, watering crops, for their livestock and even as an energy source.
At the village, there were about 16 kids and about 5 adults watching. We taught the kids English and Bible stories. We also did flashcards, games, and songs. Musical chairs was definitely a favorite among all the kids!

Pray that the seeds that have been planted will grow!

Wise Thoughts
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
Team of the Day: Whatever It Takes 4 Cambodia
Country of the Day: Cambodia
Pray for team members to daily seek the wisdom of God's Word. Pray the words they speak would overflow from a heart that seeks God every moment.
"You Siem Reap What You Sow"
Prayer Requests:
- Focus- that we will be able to finish our last two weeks, with perseverance to sharing the gospel
- Revival- that God would stir in the hearts of the Khmer and build His church here
- Strength- that our team would have strength and energy to finish the task that the Lord has granted us with.

Teach, Eat, Sleep, Pray, Repeat,...
Our life the past month and a half has been constant of these four things: teaching, eating, sleeping and praying.
Everyday we have the opportunity to share our students about the love of Jesus and His goodness.
Everyday we have the opportunity to share our students about the love of Jesus and His goodness.
While we've definitely found our rut, it's been a blessing to see the subtle ways in which God works each day- whether it be seeing growing interests in the gospel in our classes, unforgettable moments of bonding and laughs and tears with our family group, or being encouraged and loved on by our fellow teammates. Everyday is familiar and alien- a grandiose recipe of fulfilled expectations and events we could never had imagined. God continues to blow our minds.
- The most important thing: many stories from the Bible, and shared about just who Jesus is.
- "Live long and prosper" (with the hand motion)
- The five rules of life: (These are Brian's Rules)
- Jesus
- Dinosaurs
- Breathing
- Eating
- Love (said with an eyebrow wiggle)
- In Mikki and Abbey's classes, they memorize a Bible verse each week. They have learned John 3:16, John 14:6, Romans 6:23, and are learning Acts 4:12.
- For divine conversations with people
- Continued health

"We Don't Speak Khmer"
Our team has had the opportunity to try some new foods. This week, we got to try pigeon and silk worms. From the words of Brian, "It was slimy yet satisfying".
Fun Memories of this week:
- We had a family outside bathing experience. It all started when we had a small water fight at our home, but then things escalated. Then they brought out the shampoo and we had a hair washing party.
- This past weekend, there was a convention at our church. There were 30-40 pastors from the province to come and train together. There was a visiting pastor & his wife from Florida and we got to be encouraged by them. It was so cool to see how the Lord has been faithful and to see how He is at work here.
- Also there a mud fight which began as a harmless game of soccer in the rain.
- That our team would remain healthy to finish the weeks strong
- Travel safety from going to and from places
- Daily energy and strength

What we've done so far

| Children at the orphanage |
- Pray for us to be an encouragement to our host family and that seeds would be planted within the school.
- Pray for us to be BOLD in sharing the gospel.
