NT365: What I've learned these first three weeks....

Carport class during the afternoon rain
AOT is making me realize that most people won't respond to the Great Commission because we consider our life too valuable for God's disposal.
-Ace

I have learned how to do a better job of "picking up my cross daily." I've also learned that the more I follow Jesus, the more challenges I face. Bit I can face them with a joyful heart, knowing that it is making me more "mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1:2-4)
-Ty

Body bags... are you truly willing to say, "Make me a vessel, make me an offering. Make me whatever you want me to be." I am learning about giving up my life to Christ & learning ways to better share & know the Gospel.
-Max

"3 Circles" practice
Even though I am weak & will fail, God can still use me. It is not me, but Him working through me.
-Ragyn

This past weekend I witnessed God not only work in my team but I got to witness 9 young men accept Christ and come to Bible studies after we shared the Gospel through the Bridge tract which we'd learned over the last couple weeks.

NT365: What I've learned these first 3 weeks....

God can use different personalities & people for the good of His kingdom. God is doing things. Not only is He changing the hearts of those we share the Gospel with... but God is changing OUR hearts.
-Morgan

Grace is so abundant & great that one can see it, feel it, smell it, and even hear it. Grace is bound in the very fabric of our reality & being... and God is the giver of such grace.
-Hayden

I have realized the important of an intimate relationship with God in order to hear His voice. I have been encouraged & inspired to know how mightily God can use any person who completely surrenders his life to the Lord.
-Samuel

Best 3 week of my life!!! The Holy Spirit has opened my eyes & ears to what He is trying to tell me. Daily reliance on God for everything... my prayer life has improved dramatically!!
-John David

AOT has reminded me that having a long view of your life is important--- and those small obedience checks are there to strengthen and guide me.

NT365: Complete Surrender

We have been studying about people who did everything they could to share the Gospel. We've discussed how all believers should be motivated & challenged to put all their efforts into sharing the Gospel & glorifying God. I've been encouraged in my efforts to completely surrender everything to God, and to die knowing I fought the good fight & followed Him in the way He asked me to... by going to make disciples of all nations.

NT365: Week one is over!!

Highlights of the first week: quiet time, team time, worship, and daily "seat" time which includes lectures, creative drama, group discussions & illustrating what they've learned.

Trainees went on a farm tour, drank chocolate goats milk (everyone's favorite!) and were divided into 3 teams for weekend village ministry.

Oh yeah, everyone pitches in with the chores and wash their own clothes... by hand!

We learned this week about God's great love for us. We also learned about how God used Nehemiah and what we can learn from his life.

More to come!!!
