Thank you, thank you, thank you all so much for your prayers!! “The
prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective”-James 5:16 Oh what
truth! He is working in and through us in ways I don’t quite yet know
how to process but He is sovereign and His faithfulness endures!
After praying about it we decided to stay in Buenos Suerte for an extra week. We have spent the past three weeks evangelizing, discipling, and building relationships. I am so filled with joy because of what God is doing in the hearts and lives of these people! We have also been hiking down to Gahong (a village you can only get to by hiking) and sharing the Gospel.
On our last trip there we joined a church from Anda who shared the Gospel and the Jesus film. Kuya Erwin later told us that a boy around 9 or 10 asked who the man on the cross was. Kuya explained that it was Jesus who died for our sins. The boy then asked what sin is. It breaks my heart! Romans 15:20-21. Many of them hadn’t heard of Jesus, and what they had heard was a very perverted version. They hadn’t heard the truth! There is still much to be done here.
This was also our last weekend to spend with the church at Byong. Colossians 2:5 has become very real to me. I’m going to miss them so much!! We will be spending our last two weeks in L.
Please pray we readjust quickly, for safety, and that we will make a lasting impact.
