"Pray continually."
– 1 Thessalonians 5:17
It’s a verse many of us know by heart—but do we actually live it out? Do we really bring everything to God in prayer, as the old hymn says? I can’t say I always have.
Yet during this trip, we pray. We pray for food. We pray for protection. We pray for ministry. We pray for one another. We pray together. We pray for the big things—and the little ones too.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on those little prayers. Just this past week, before heading to a village to share the Creation to Christ story and our testimonies, I prayed over our group and asked the Lord to go before us—to prepare hearts and to protect us. As I closed, I asked God to hold off the rain.
And He did.
The moment we finished sharing, it started to drizzle.
Wow. Just remembering this moment fills me with awe—God hears all of it. He continually provides. He faithfully answers.

"Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete."
