Special Coffee Shop Encounter

One Monday morning, while the team was at a favorite coffee shop in town, they got to meet some people from a local tribal community. Fascinated by their colorful tribal clothes, the team decided to introduce themselves. While they were talking the tribal members said they had never met Americans and were so glad to have the opportunity. 

Through curious questions about each other’s culture and religions, the team was able to share the gospel & their personal faith with their new friends. The team showed them a Bible and explained that's where they learn more about God. 

With much interest to learn more about what the Bible says, the tribal leader asked if they had an extra one with them. Hearing this, two of the boys from the team ran (with much joy!) back to their rooms to get Bibles for their new friends. The tribal group was so grateful and appreciative to receive their very first Bibles! They said that they were going back home and would share it with their whole community.  

Pray for this group: Pray they will take the initiative to read from the Bibles they were given. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives through the words they read.
