We have completed our first week in Cambodia. The Lord has shown His faithfulness to us so many times throughout the week. We teach English classes multiple times everyday. We teach at local schools, churches, and villages. It has been a joy to get to know the students and build relationships with them. We have already seen the Lord work through some relationships that have been placed here. Now to meet the team!
Tara: Tara is our Team Leader. She is from Florida and getting her Master's Degree in Mathematical Sciences. Her favorite color is orange, and she enjoys to play the guitar and drums. Her favorite Bible verse John 3:30.
Mikki: Mikki is from Mississippi and is about to be a senior while studying Spanish. Mikki's favorite color is purple, and her name is not really Mikki. (It is Fumiko). She enjoys to play the guitar and reading. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28.
Nathan: Nathan is from Alabama. He is currently undecided on his major, but is interested in international missions. His favorite color is sunset orange, and he is an Eagle Scout. Nathan enjoys spending time with people and doing the conga line. His favorite Bible verse is Job 12:10.
Brian: Brian is from the back backwoods of North Carolina, but attends school in Montana. He is studying Paleontology, aka he loves dinosaurs. His favorite color is blue, and he saved a Colombian man from a raging North Carolina river. Brian enjoys drawing and singing in the shower. His favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 15:58.
Abbey: Abbey is from Missouri and attends school there while studying Special Education. Her favorite color is yellow or blue, and she has a pet skunk at home named Stanley. Abbey enjoys to journal and be outside. Her favorite Bible verse is Matthew 10:39.
Alexa: Alexa is from Ohio, she attends school there and is majoring in Early Childhood Education. Her favorite color is lavender, and she once broke her arm on a blob. Alexa enjoys to read, knit, and be outside. Her favorite Bible verse is Esther 4:14.
