Meet the Teams: 2012 Luzon Nannies

These wonderful women are headed to the Philippines! They will be in Metro Manila serving as nannies at the Gentle Hands children's home. Many of the children come from the nearby "squatter" settlements in a very poor area of the city. They have special medical needs; most are malnourished. The nannies will help care for and love these children as well as doing outreach ministry in the squatter areas.

(from left to right)
Chylsea is from Alabama. She enjoys fishing and photography, and she's really excited about playing with kids all day!
Hannah
is a sophomore from Tennessee. She likes beards (for men) and gardening. She looks forward to building relationships with the people of Manila. She prays that she would not hold to material things even when she returns to the States, but that her mindset would be like that of Christ Jesus.
Maegan is a senior from Georgia. Purple nail polish is her favorite, and she loves reading historical fiction. Her motto for the summer is Philippians 2:3 - "Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves."
Rachel is a senior from Tennessee. She likes sunshine and gravy & biscuits. She plans to be a career missionary and is excited to gain more experience in doing what she genuinely loves. She asks that you pray for the Lord to move the nations.
