Kicking it into gear

This week has been really good!  We had a prayer meeting on Monday, Bible discussion group on Tuesday, international's Bible study and conversation club on Wednesday, dinner at a friend's house and church and unicycle riding on Thursday, dinner with a Chinese girl we met earlier in the week on Friday, and hiking and breakfast for dinner on Saturday!  And just about every day we went out and did street evangelism and shared/tried to share with Pitt students.

It has been exhausting.  Time is running out here, and I don't know what I am going to do without my Pittsburgh family.  How did I survive up until this point without them?!

On Wednesday, Alisha and I went out and did evangelism with two others from the church.  It was on Wednesday that I met a girl named Sing.  Peggy (girl from the church) and I did solarium (picture survey) with her.  She was so interested!  Praise God!

Peggy and I got the opportunity to share a little with her, but we didn't want to keep her too long.  She said we should meet up again so that we can explain the Bible to her!

And that is exactly what we did on Friday night.  We went to her favorite Chinese food restaurant and stayed there about two and a half hours.  We explained the gospel, drew it out in a diagram for her, gave her a Bible, took her through the Romans Road, answered numerous difficult questions, explained what it means to repent and believe, and shared testimonies.

The whole time she was super attentive and soaking it all in.  It was a lot to soak in.  She said she goes to the Chinese church and she attends some Bible studies, but she never understood a lot of it until we explained it to her.

It was so encouraging that people had already talked to her about some of the stuff we did, so we could go into it on a deeper level.  She wants to meet up again, maybe to get coffee sometime this week!
Please be in prayer for Sing and that we would have more opportunities to meet up.
Please pray that the Lord would help her understand what it means to believe in Him.
