Village Voyage: Mexico Trailblazers

After getting to know the culture and participating in various ministry projects, we finally got to go into our villages this week.

The night prior to our first day, we gathered together for prayer and praise, asking God to go before us and bless our time in the villages. And He was so faithful.

Many of us got plugged into local village churches, serving under the body there. Where there were no churches we found kind families and people who welcomed us into their homes, offered us meals and treated us like family.

We learned so much from our first few days. We've been practicing our Spanish mucho with the nationals, who also speak their native indigenous language, and learning about the culture and their daily lives.

One day, we learned how to make tlayudas, large tortillas about twice as large and much harder than the ones we're used to in the US.

Please pray for continued relationship with the nationals and opportunity to share the story of how God has transformed our lives.
