Who will it be?

Our supervisor recently learned of an island that is part of our country that is 99.5% Muslim and has no indigenous believers nor anyone trying to reach them. He was burdened for these people and invited us to go with him to scout out the island. We traveled with a tourist company, so we would have a reason to be there, and a way to meet people. After a 4 hour boat ride, we had our first glimpse of one of the most beautiful places we had ever seen.

Over the course of the next two days we met people, prayer walked, and experienced life on the island. Two of our friends even got to share with some of the residents. We got to snorkel in a crystal clear ocean, hike to a waterfall, and watch a stunning sunset over the ocean. We rode over green hills and through rice covered fields on motorbikes, and smiled at people who had probably never seen white people before. What a blessing to experience God's creation and to see a glimpse of something close to paradise. Our hearts were saddened that these sweet people were surrounded by beauty every day, but had no relationship with it's Creator. However, we are hopeful and confident that someone will return to this island, with the intent of bringing the good news. The question is, who will it be?

Pray for people to be called out, from America and SEA to continue the Great Commission and see this UPG island reached.
Pray also for the people of this island, that God would prepare their hearts to hear His glorious story.
