As Iron Sharpens Iron

Teammates have become family and translators are now brothers. As we all work together toward the goal of making Jesus' name known, our connection grows. As we strive to make disciples among these people, our love grows. Being a part of this diverse community of believers is sharpening and molding all of us. The Father is creating strong men who will do His work for the rest of their lives. The eleven of us will never be the same. We came here thinking that we would "Impact Cebu." Our time in Cebu is having the most impact on us. Christ is at work in our hearts, as well as in these communities. Walking, growing, and doing ministry with these men will never be forgotten. "I am your 'kuya!' If you need anything, you come to me." The brotherly love here is beautiful, but more than that, it is powerful. We are becoming strong for the Lord. Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17).
